Cornerstone Group is a Norfolk Building company specialising in construction work, general building projects and property renovation. We undertake new builds and extensions, building repairs and refurbishments including damp proofing, fireplace, stove & flue installations - from the planning stage through to completion.

Cornerstone Group director is Chris Smith, who has been in the building trade for more than thirteen years, working in most areas of building construction and contracting - for Norfolk based and international companies. In recent years he has worked for an international company on a domestic repairs contract covering all sorts of work from major structural repairs to complete rebuilds. Chris had a management role within this company and was able to gain more experience with health and safety and procedure management than he had previously gained with other contractors. Therefore he is able to apply all of the knowledge that he has gained into every project that Cornerstone Construction Group undertake.

In April 2005 Chris formed a limited company named Cornerstone Group. Its main aim was to be able to deliver an efficient professional service to all of its clients and taking a cooperative approach to all of its projects. From the start of the business Cornerstone made it an aim to only employ the use of quality and time served tradesmen, which has paid off with the quality of works produced today and the satisfaction of their clients. As we find ourselves in the days of ‘rogue’ traders, Cornerstone Group offers the service which many people seemed not to be able to find.

Cornerstone Group pride themselves with being able to offer the complete package from design to build and all associated trades, and at the same time are able to carry out smaller works for individual clients as professionally and competitively as larger projects they undertake. Often this is the ‘springboard’ into larger projects. Since October 2006 Cornerstone have expanded into developing a new Technical Services Division and now offer Damp proofing services and Solid fuel stove installation and chimney lining, as part of this division, registered in both of these areas.

Cornerstone Group work on the basis, where possible, to be able to offer most clients savings if they can be made on the works undertaken. This would mean that if Cornerstone sourced a cheaper material than quoted for, for example, they would offer that saving back to the client. So therefore the potential that The Cornerstone Group now has is to be able to design and build properties and extensions, managing internally within the company the ability to carry out all renovation works on your property, supplying all trades and services to you, the client, and now the ability to deliver technical services as mentioned above.

We believe that we are offering a service to Norfolk that is unique in that we can deliver works to the client from start to completion meeting the clients expectations and satisfaction with the ‘hassle free’ project management undertaken in house, therefore meaning that you only need to employ Cornerstone Group.
